1. Services
Power Pumps offers open level dance classes, closed courses, Beginner Masterclasses, 1:1 privates, an online tutorial membership, gift cards, as well as all other services which are connected to Power Pumps and published through public announcements through our website, social media, print media, billboards, flyer, etc. The composition of our offered services may vary due to constant development, further training and the improvement of methods used during dance classes, workshops etc. We reserve our rights to change, combine and cancel classes and class schedules for whatever reason.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Class Bundles (4 Class Bundle, 8 Class Bundle, Synergy Bundle), Tutorial Membership & Gift Cards: After payment via our online form, our service is binding. It is not possible to attend these services without prior payment - no cash on site. All prices apply as final prices per person.
2.2. 1:1 Privates: After registration via our online form, you will receive an automated e-mail from us addressing that we have successfully received your registration. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been completed. Please read the follow up email for further instructions on payment.
2.3. Beginner Masterclass, Rain Room Video Course, Her Spotlight Beginner Video Course & Intro To Heels Course: After paying the deposit via our online form, our service is binding. It is not possible to attend these services without registration. All prices apply as final prices per person. Please read the follow up email for further instructions on how to make the final payment.
3. Refunds
3.1. Class Bundles (4 Class Bundle, 8 Class Bundle, Synergy Bundle): Already paid services are generally non-refundable. Injuries or other severe reasons may apply as exceptions. A dropout of this service due to an injury or any other serious medical or health condition can be either refunded or the validity can be extended (standard validity is 6 months), only by forwarding a medical attestation or note from your doctor. In this case we are able to refund the full paid fee via your used payment method. If you are not showing up to your booked services without noticing us in advance your full paid fee will expire automatically and we cannot reimburse. Vacation, private or job-relational reasons do not apply as cause of cancellation - therefore your service cannot be refunded in any way. In case the purchased services are not redeemed on your behalf, they expire - the fee cannot be saved for other services in the future & it is non-transferable to other people.
3.2. Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift cards have no expiration date.
3.3. Tutorial Membership: The tutorial membership is generally non-refundable, but can be cancelled on your behalf any time in your profile settings.
3.4. 1:1 Privates: In case you don't show up to this service without notifying us, you will be billed for €150.
3.5. Beginner Masterclass, Rain Room Video Course, Her Spotlight Beginner Video Course & Intro To Heels Course: In case you cancel for this service, please note that the deposit can not be reimbursed. The only exception is if you are able to bring a doctor's note - in that case, the deposit can be refunded.
4. Copyright
The copyright belongs to Power Pumps and its entire workforce. The ideas, assets as well as choreographies learned in class or from a tutorial are meant for personal use only. Passing on Power Pumps copyrighted content or choreographies to a third party is strictly prohibited.
5. Class Etiquette
We do not tolerate verbal or physical negative behavior, racism, sexism or bullying of any kind. Smoking during our classes is not allowed. We ask you to enter the studio space with clean shoes only. Due to fire regulations, jackets and coats must be stowed in the locker rooms. Please follow the instructions of the teachers prior, during and after classes. In case of intentional contravention or threat to other people or the studio’s property, we reserve our right to take legal action. General health regulations must be strictly followed in all premises.
6. Accountability
Attending, dancing and training during our classes is at your own risk. Power Pumps does not take any responsibility for any accidents of our attendees or any emotional or physical damage/illnesses that come with it. You are responsible for your own actions and insurance that would cover the costs in case an accident happens. We do not assume liability for your own negligence. For anyone from the age of 16-18, the parents assume liability. Also, please be cautious of slippery floors at any time. We do not assume liability for your wardrobe, personal valuables as well as any damages of property.
7. Customer’s Health Condition
With your booking of one of our offered services you automatically agree that you are physically and emotionally healthy or that you are able to meet the physical and emotional requirements of taking a dance class. The participation of any offered service under the influence of drugs, alcohol or pharmaceuticals is prohibited. With the act of registration you assure to not suffer from any infectious diseases. In case of other chronic physical or mental illnesses please notify the teacher beforehand, and talk to your doctor prior to taking class if needed. In the event of pregnancy, a doctor's approval must be obtained before participation.
8. Protection of Data Privacy
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. The data provided when registering and purchasing will be stored in our internal system for 7 years, but will never be passed on to third parties. Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. The submitted contact, address & payment information is treated confidentially and is subject to an appropriate level of security. If desired, the personal data can also be completely deleted. We will respond to requests within two weeks to transmit, correct or delete the requested information. Also, no data of intellectual property of any person will be disclosed. Data necessary for the enforcement of rights of the person responsible or data which underlie a statutory retention period won’t be deleted. To complete your booking for one of our services, it is necessary that you provide us with your full personal data which is needed for accounting purposes (invoice). A newsletter will be sent to all stored email addresses a couple times a year, which of course can be unsubscribed at any time using the Unsubscribe function in the email. We ask you to inform us in the event of a change of any personal information.
9. Cookies
There is a possibility that information will be stored on your computer in form of cookies when you visit our website www.powerpumpsdance.com. These cookies are automatically recognized the next time you visit our website. If you do not want them to get stored, you can reset your internet browser in order to block all cookies.
10. Image rights
All photo and/or video material that is produced as part of Power Pumps is the legal property of Power Pumps. Photo and video material from all dance classes and performances may be used indefinitely for our internal purposes (design of the website, invitations, newsletters, etc.), for media presence (TV, print, online, social media) and advertising (printed matter, merchandise, etc.). The customer has no financial or legal rights to photo or video material of him/herself that was made in the classes. All customers can request to purchase video or photo material after class, which can only be used by the costumer for non-commercial reasons. If the participant absolutely does not wish to be recognizable in photos or video material, you need to notify Power Pumps and the videographer prior to the videos or photos being made.
11. General
All purchased services are individual-related and not transferable to others. You must be at least 16 years of age to attend any of our offered services.
